Also referred to as DarkStar, Dark Star is one hundred percent unadulterated Indica strain. TH Seeds bred it with an aim to create a medical strain, which would be loyal to its Afghan origin but will not overpower the latter’s merits.
The strain was developed by crossing a couple of infamous trains called Mazar-I-Sharif and Purple Kush. The end result was this intense strain albeit not too strong bud, which is preferred by all users irrespective of recreational or medical use.
There is hardly any surprise about why it is a favorite marijuana medicine for many, particularly among the newer consumers. One of the key reasons is because its THC composition is about 19 percent on an average that almost assures consistent outcomes.
The almost navy blue colored, forest green buds are covered with pink hairs and crystal trichomes and are a lovely sight. They smell of earth and coffee notes in the front and also of tangy kush. The strain tastes rich and sweet with coffee notes and herbs, which is delicious on the palate. While the strain has short-lived cerebral effects, at times these effects are non-existent.
However, body buzz happens to be completely relaxing and short-lived. It is a perfect bud for all such people who are suffering from chronic pain, insomnia, muscle spasms, or nausea. The reason is it acts as a sedative that can wipe-out pain in a few minutes. As the strain leads to an uplifting high after consumption, it is excellent for treating symptoms like depression, anxiety, stress, certain PTSD, and bipolar case.
