Positive Marijuana News! Federal Committee Gives Cannabis Legalization a Big Thumbs Up!
Oh, it’s getting exciting now. House Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said that he would relentlessly pursue cannabis legalization. Even though it stalled with the previous administration under former President Donald Trump, it looks like both the House and the Senate are ready to move forward.
Since the 1930s, cannabis has been prohibited in the United States. And the battle to legalize it formally has been more than a decade in the making. Pressed into action by thirty-seven states that have now legalized medical cannabis. And some states that have legalized adult-use (non-medical).
The “Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement Act” (MORE) has been hanging in limbo since the administrative change in January 2021. The proposed MORE legislation would completely remove cannabis from Schedule 1 and legalize it.
The MORE Act contains a path to mass expungement and social equity reparation to individuals and communities of color who were systematically targeted and impacted by the “war on drugs.”

Are You Thinking About Marijuana for Menopause?
Women often feel like no one listens, when they have symptoms that are difficult to manage—particularly involving menstruation and menopause. And some feel like they need to just “suck it up” and deal with the symptoms because they are ‘normal.’
If men endured the symptoms of menopause, arguably, the scientific community would have found a cure for it already. The options that women are provided to navigate through the hormonal maelstrom can come with some side effects that are, in some ways, worse than the symptoms. Or health risks, including elevated cancer risks with HRT (hormone replacement therapy) and opioid or NSAID addiction.
A new study reveals many of us were already thinking; women are using marijuana for menopausal symptoms. If you have been thinking about getting your medical card so that you can try cannabis for symptom relief, we’ve got the facts you are looking for in this article.
Our Writer Tried Delta-8 for the First Time for Our Marijuana News Column
Sun State Hemp is an advertiser with MarijunanaDoctors.com. But when the company offered a 20% discount on Delta-8 and CBD products, including vapes, gummies, and tinctures, our writer thought it would be a good time to try it out. She had read plenty about it in marijuana news.
Did you have the same experience as our writer did, trying Delta-8 products for the first time? An informative (but also funny) review of Sun State Delta-8 products. And some suggestions about dosing the right amount. Because Delta-8 is definitely psychoactive.
The review discusses how effective the Delta-8 products were at reducing pain symptoms for diabetic neuropathy and anxiety. And why a short nap was required on a Saturday afternoon for our writer.
Learn which states have banned Delta-8 (not legal) versus the states where you can order online and have gummies, vapes, tinctures, and moonrocks shipped right to your door. Without the recommendation of a medical doctor.
