Appalachia is a hybrid strain of cannabis that was first bred by High & Lonesome Seeds. They perfected this well-balanced strain of cannabis by creating a cross between the Tres Dawg strain and the Green Crack strain. Although both of the parent strains of the Appalachia can be considered as extremes, the Appalachia is uniquely well balanced and does not display any kind of extreme characteristics.
You can expect to experience a good mixture of sensations that belong to the parental stocks. Appalachia packs distinct flavors of pine, diesel, skunk, and citrus. During flowering, you can expect to see a trichome cloud on top of the plant, and the plant usually has a chunky, big cola that shoots out lime-green fan leaves.
What are cannabis strains? They are either pure or hybrid varieties of the plant genus cannabis, which includes the species C. sativa, C. indica, and C. ruderalis. To learn more, check out MarijuanaDoctors.com‘s directory of marijuana strains.
