Monroe County Alternative Care is a compassionate medical organization that specializes in medical marijuana treatment. Patients who are diagnosed with a qualifying condition in New York can now request an appointment to be evaluated by a state-approved physician at Monroe County Alternative Care. During the evaluation, the doctor will discuss with the patient previous treatment methods used and the benefits, as well as any risks, that may come along with using medical cannabis. To ensure patients are able to get their medicine quickly they also offer patients assistance filing applications and navigating the guidelines with the state program. The doctor and staff will then develop a plan that includes any necessary follow-up visits, ensuring each patient maintains their legal cardholder status as dictated by the New York Medical Marijuana Program. The compassionate staff at Monroe County Alternative Care will be available to all patients to provide support throughout the entire certification process.
