Alternative Health of New Jersey specializes in evaluating and certifying patients for NJ's medical marijuana program. Signed into law in January of 2010 Senate Bill 119 allows patients to legally use marijuana to treat their: Chronic pain, Anxiety, Migraines, PTSD, Seizure Disorders, Intractable Muscular Spasticity, Cancer, HIV/AIDS, ALS, MS, Muscular Dystrophy, Ulcerative Colitis and IBD. Patients of Alternative Health of New Jersey will be seen by a licensed internist with over 20 years of experience. Upon the evaluation of their medical records, qualified patients will be registered with the NJ Dept. of Health and will receive their Patient ID. The Patient ID allows them to register with the state and receive their medical card so they can legally purchase cannabis at their local state sanctioned dispensary. Every patient of Alternative Health of New Jersey is viewed as an individual with their own specific health needs and goals. To ensure these are met enough time will be taken on every visit to make sure their questions are answered and any concerns they have about using cannabis are addressed.
