This fully equipped medical office offers medical marijuana evaluations and certifications for eligible patients seeking to legally use medical cannabis in the state of Maryland. Patients will be seen by Dr. Mary Jo Cannon, a state-approved certifying physician who is registered with the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (MMCC). Dr. Cannon will conduct a comprehensive evaluation to determine whether or not medical cannabis treatment may treat and/or alleviate a patient's medical condition. The doctor will also discuss the benefits and risks associated with the use of cannabis. Any approved patients will be issued a written certification, required to purchase the medicine at a state-approved dispensary. This private practice is located in the Western MD - WV metropolitan area. The office is in Allegany Co., near Potomac Park, Frostburg, Prince George's Co., and Washington Co.
The fastest method to obtain a recommendation (should your condition qualify) is to apply online at the Maryland Medical Cannabis registration website and then create a patient account. Without a completed registration one may not be permitted to obtain product from a dispensary.
If you need help our staff can guide you through the site registration process to insure an accurate filing. This $25.00 service is due when you arrive at your scheduled appointment time with Dr. Cannon. Once properly registered it will take approximately 24-48 hours to obtain your unique number. One cannot obtain a valid recommendation any other way.
Anyone may obtain a registration number but such does not guarantee a Physician's obligation to issue a certified recommendation. Some ailments may not qualify or perhaps another medical/medicine course of action may be more appropriate rather than medical cannabis. Dr. Cannon truly values the role of cannabis in modern medicine.
