CannaBay Docs is a certified medical marijuana health team, with two locations to serve our patients. We know how difficult it can be to face the day when you have debilitating chronic pain, muscle spasms, gastrointestinal inflammation, and other health problems. We help residents of Maryland complete the steps required to get a medical marijuana card online.
We are Southern Maryland’s resource for medical marijuana online certification. Patients who have qualifying health conditions that wish to explore alternative cannabis therapies are supported by our team of practitioners to make access to medical marijuana easier.
To support our patients' needs, CannaBay Docs provides medical marijuana evaluation and certification services 7 days per week.
How Long Does it Take to Get a Medical Marijuana Card in Maryland (ME)?
There are many steps involved to successfully register with the State of Maryland for medical marijuana. At CannaBay Docs, we are an essential service for patients. You can schedule your patient evaluation for your medical marijuana card online (a convenient new service we offer). Alternatively, you can visit our marijuana doctor in-person at one of our two convenience locations.
The waiting period for your MMCC ID can range from 10-45 days, depending on the volume of applications. A temporary medical marijuana card is provided to patients by mail. Hospice patients, however, do not have to wait. Qualifying hospice or terminally-ill patients that request a medical marijuana card in Maryland are processed immediately.

In May 2020, a bill was passed to allow members of the Maryland Medical Assistance Program to receive assistance with medical cannabis-related services. This goes into effect on October 1, 2020:
