Due to the COVID-19 Virus, state regulations may be waiving their requirement for all new patients to be seen in-person. Please inquire with our office for the most up-to-date information. ECS Wellness does offer patients the option of being seen remotely via telemedicine in order limit the exposure of our patients and staff.
This private integrative medical office focuses on the intersection between internal medicine, the endocannabinoid system and mind-body medicine. Prospective patients will be seen by Dr. Ryan Zaklin, a double Board Certified Medical Doctor in both Internal Medicine and Integrative Medicine or by our Nurse Practitioner, Meghan Clements. The practice aims to help patients return to a natural state of balance through the use of: cannabis therapeutics, herbal medicine, energy medicine, nutrition and meditation. We, at ECS Wellness, view optimization of a patient’s ECS (endocannabinoid system) as essential to achieving this balance and managing many types of complicated medical conditions. Our providers have studied the ECS and medical cannabis extensively, and have been helping MA patients gain access to, and use cannabis properly to treat their medical condition(s) for several years.
New patients will receive a: comprehensive Integrative medical assessment, review of their medical history, and discussion of their health and lifestyle goals. Our providers will then develop a custom treatment plan tailored to the patient's individual needs. In order to ensure our patients are able to maximize the benefits and minimize negative side effects of using cannabis, follow up visits will be scheduled. These visits will take place anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months from the initial appointment, depending on the patients’ needs. Initial visits and subsequent follow up visits can be partially covered by insurance to help keep them affordable for people who need this medical treatment.
