At Zaklin Integrative ECS Wellness, our motto is we provide TLC and recommend THC with the TLC coming first. We partner with our patients to ensure they have the best outcomes for not only cannabis therapeutics but for all aspects of their health. As an integrative medicine practice first and foremost, we prioritize the whole well-being of our patients. Our commitment to our patients is exemplified in how we intently listen to our patients, who are often frustrated not having been heard by other providers. We meet them where they are on their healing journey. Cannabis therapeutics is as a complement to the holistic practices that we not only endorse, but embrace and integrate into our own lives. We recognize that cannabis services are not covered by health insurance and such costs tend to be a deterrent for patients seeking relief with the use of cannabis therapy. We proudly accept health insurance to cover the costs of the complementary services we offer which in turn allows us to offer cannabis certification service to our patients at a much lower cost than our competitors.

Insurance does not cover cannabis therapeutics/MMJ. We have an insurance-based model because I practice Integrative medicine and do a full comprehensive evaluation of all patients and offer a comprehensive plan for their condition. This plan is covered by insurance. Cannabis therapeutics is most often part of this plan, but this cannot be reimbursed by insurance. Thus, we charge an annual self-pay fee of $100, which covers certificate, tailored recommendations, and any follow-up visits. Thus, the cost of an initial visit is $100 in addition to their predetermined insurance carrier specialist copay. Subsequent visits will only cost their specialist copay as predetermined by their insurance carrier. For example, Medicare patients have no copay. Thus, the cost of their initial visit is $100, subsequent would not cost them anything. A BCBS patient with a $60 copay would have to pay $160 initial, and $60 each subsequent.

Ryan Zaklin MD, MA, who’s patients refer to as “Dr.Z”, an internal medicine physician in the Partners Healthcare network with specialization in Integrative Medicine and Mind-Body Medicine, has put together a team with diverse professional backgrounds and experiences. Together we provide an unparalleled level of care and support for our patients whom we regard with the utmost love and respect. We consider our patient's family, thus we treat them as we would treat a family member (if not better in some cases!). Our goal is to provide our patients with the tools they need to succeed in meeting their personal health goals. And that means, when cannabis therapeutics is recommended, no patient in our practice navigates the cannabis space alone.
