Patients interested in obtaining a medical marijuana certification while the COVID-19 Stay at Home Orders are in effect are still able to visit a DoctorsRX Medical Centers Location 7 days a week. We are grateful to have been deemed an Essential Service, and are happy that we can continue to help people gain access to medical cannabis during this trying period. Due to the health risk that this virus poses to our patients, staff and their families we will be taking the following precautions to ensure everyone's safety.
We apologize for any inconvenience this causes and thank you in advance for your help keeping our community healthy
This Pasco County branch of DoctorsRX Medical Centers offers medical marijuana evaluations and certifications for eligible FL residents. On the initial visit to the office a new patient will visit with a practitioner to review their medical history and current treatments for their condition(s). The practitioner will then take the time to answer any questions and go over the risks and benefits associated with medical cannabis treatment. If the patient and practitioner agree that medical cannabis may meet their health and lifestyle needs without significant risks, the practitioner will draft a treatment plan. This plan will be tailored to the individual patient and will include all necessary followups to ensure the patient maintains their status as a card holder. The office staff will then assist the patient with enrolling in the Medical Marijuana Use Registry allowing them to legally purchase and use medical marijuana in FL.
