MMTC of Florida is accepting new patients who would like to find an alternative method of treatment in the form of medical marijuana. We maintain a primary focus of supporting patients seeking effective cannabis-based alternative treatments in order to treat symptoms and improve overall quality of life. Patients will be seen by a state-approved ordering physician who can adequately determine whether the presented symptoms will be substantially relieved by using cannabis in place of traditional modes of therapy. The doctor will take the time to determine if medical cannabis is the best option for a patient while assessing all of their questions and concerns. Approved patients will be assisted with submitting an application to the Office of Medical Marijuana Use and obtaining a Registry Identification Card. We will provide you with a copy of the application and any personalized assistance you need. An MMTC provider will work with you to identify medical marijuana treatment options and dosage forms to suit your individual needs, and adjust your recommendation if necessary. MMTC has centers all over the Sunshine State where patients can be seen for a comprehensive evaluation, giving more patients convenient access to a skilled health professional who will help them find a natural solution to treat their condition.
As an MMTC patient, we consider you an important part of our team. Thank you for choosing us as your medical cannabis experts.

Dr. Bruce Rubinowicz received his medical degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his neurology residency at the University of Texas and a sleep medicine fellowship at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Dr. Rubinowicz had a private practice in the Nashville area for 18 years before moving to South Florida, and has well over 20 years of experience. His care philosophy is to be a patient advocate, providing full service and care to avoid unnecessary or costly referrals and outside testing. His partnership with MMTC allows Dr. Rubinowicz to provide individualized treatment without sacrificing the quality tools and resources of a bigger clinic group.
Medical Marijuana Treatment Clinics of Florida (MMTC) came into existence in 2016 following the passing of Florida’s Compassionate Care Act (Amendment 2), and is now accepting patients in 20+ clinic locations throughout the state.
