The medical marijuana certificate for Connecticut requires a letter of recommendation from a health practitioner. During your health evaluation, the physician will review your past and current diagnoses, daily symptoms, medications, and lifestyle considerations for patient safety. If the marijuana doctor feels that you are a good candidate for cannabis treatments, you will receive a doctor’s recommendation. The physician will submit the report and start your application for registration online.

Patients who want to get their medical marijuana certificate receive an email with instructions on registering online. There is a fee payable at that time for online registration. Shortly afterward the patient will receive the medical marijuana certificate, which permits the patient to purchase cannabis at any licensed marijuana dispensary in Connecticut.
