In order to legally purchase, consume and possess Medical Marijuana in the state of New Jersey, you must obtain an authenticated, written certification from a physician licensed in the state of New Jersey, with whom you maintain a bona fide relationship with, stating that that you might benefit from the medical use of marijuana. A bona fide physician-patient relationship means that the physician has ongoing responsibility for the assessment, care and treatment of your debilitating medical condition. You must also register as a medical marijuana patient with the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services to receive a Medical Marijuana registry identification card.
