The strains sold at First State Compassion Center come directly from their Wilmington growing facility. Their cultivators use genetics from Tikun Olam. Tikun Olam works out of Israel, the world capital of medical marijuana research and development.
In addition to flower, the dispensary sells:
First State Compassion Center restocks their inventory daily, but they don’t have every product available all the time. Contact the dispensary in advance if you’re looking for a specific strain or product type.
First-time patients must schedule an orientation during one of the dispensary’s pre-allotted time slots. During this appointment, you will sign up as a customer and learn a bit more about cannabis medicine. Orientations take between 45 minutes to an hour, after which you can schedule an appointment or make your first walk-in visit. Walk-in patients receive service on a first-come, first-serve basis.
You can use cash or a card to pay for your purchase. If you’re a senior, veteran or recipient of public assistance, bring proof to get a special discount!
First State Compassion Center not only had the honor of opening the first dispensary in Delaware, but the second, as well. After earning the trust of Delaware’s Department of Health and Social Services, the company works closely with the agency to establish the state’s medical marijuana industry.
Headquartered in Wilmington, they opened a second location in Lewes in 2017. The Lewes branch of First State Compassion Center provides care to patients in Sussex County.
