How do I qualify for Medical Marijuana in New Jersey?

In order to legally purchase, consume and possess Medical Marijuana in the state of New Jersey, you must obtain an authenticated, written certification from a physician licensed in the state of New Jersey, with whom you maintain a bona fide relationship with, stating that that you might benefit from the medical use of marijuana. A bona fide physician-patient relationship means that the physician has ongoing responsibility for the assessment, care and treatment of your debilitating medical condition. What medical conditions or ailments are eligible for medical marijuana in New Jersey?

One of the following conditions, if resistant to conventional medical therapy: seizure disorder, including epilepsy, intractable skeletal muscular spasticity, or glaucoma; HIV/AIDs or cancer, if severe or chronic pain, severe nausea or vomiting, cachexia or wasting syndrome results from the condition or treatment thereof; Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s disease), multiple sclerosis, terminal cancer, muscular dystrophy, or inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn's disease; or terminal illness, if the physician has determined a prognosis of less than 12 months of life.
